Welcome

The ‘Actors’ Richmond Centre’ was founded in the 1980s by Sam Walters - Director of the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond, Surrey.  He felt that there was a need locally for a centre that could run workshops for professional actors.  We have been running now for over twenty years and Sam is now our patron.

We operate a non-profit making programme of singing classes and acting workshops over three terms each year.

ARC has an elected chairman and committee with a constitution of principles.

We give occasional performances of words and music for charity, and, once or twice a year, we sing as a guest choir at the Actors' Church, St Paul's, Covent Garden. We also take part in the summer season of entertainment at Garrick's Temple in Hampton.
