Acting workshops
Acting workshops form an important part of the centre’s activities and we have four workshops per term. They start at 10.00 am and finish at 2.00pm, with a short break in the middle. High profile actors, directors and writers bring their skills to provide a wide range of fascinating workshops. Everything from Greek Drama to improvisation, from Shakespeare to Stanislavsky, Film and TV acting, radio work, audition presentation, Dialects, story-telling, dance and much more. Recent tutors have included Prunella Scales, Timothy West, Michael Simkin, Mel Churcher, Ian Talbot, Patrick Tucker and Anthony Naylor.
Acting workshops cost £12 per session though non members may attend one class as a ‘guest’. Guest rate is £20 for the class
